Custom is standard. The Envoy Custom takes the same board and therefore all-in-one functionality available from the Envoy system, but using our in-house design expertise, enables your microphone unit to blend seamlessly with a building’s interior or simply to your desire. The base unit can be flush-mounted or surface-mounted; even bespoke portable versions are available. The Envoy Custom also makes possible the use of pluggable goosenecks and can introduce the phenomenon of integrated USB-charging:
• Fixed or pluggable EM-2 gooseneck (30cm as standard, custom lengths available)
• Request/Talk button
• High-quality loudspeaker (not necessary, can be remote fixed)
• 3-way Electronic Voting buttons (+/0/- [yes/no/abstain])
• USB charging
The units connect in the same way as any fixed Envoy system, via daisy-chain to the DSC100 to provide up to 256 units at one time. Fixed installation cable (Belden 8777) is used to connect the system together, the underside of the units with terminal blocks fitted. The Chair version (CDU103P) does not have an additional Priority button, but instead replaces the Delegate’s request button with a yellow button. The Envoy Custom benefits from Auditel’s ergonomic silent ‘soft-touch’ buttons, as found on our flagship Diplomat product.
The flexible design of the Envoy Custom enables total freedom in the manufacture of the unit’s features, thanks to intelligent remote-fixing technology; meaning you could have a gooseneck on one panel and your buttons on a completely separate one as an example.
